The Charger-X Pro 31inch Surf/Skate is a quality carver skateboard for surf training or just cruising & carving for fun. This full set comes ready to cruise with wheels, trucks and deck grip all in place out of the box. This model comes with Deck & Wheels in Blue with Black Trucks.
CARVE LIKE A PRO - This beauty is set up for some serious surf/skate carving with a 14inch wheelbase, 6.5inch surf/skate trucks housing 83A bushings and a single kick, super grip deck. Those features enable you to really drive through the carve and get muscle memory for your next surf, or just get a lovely buzz from a tight set of carves.
SMOOTH & FAST - The 83A HRS High Rebound Wheels give a lovely smooth ride over most surfaces and on a smooth surface it's super fast and drifts with a lovely level of control. Teamed up with the ABEC 9 Ball Bearings and built-in spacers it cruises nicely generating lots of speed when needed.
LOOKS & FEELS GOOD - The concave deck with a light flex feels really comfortable under foot, and the whole set up rides nicely together to give you a strong feel as you carve and cruise. Charger-X have designed these boards to look good to with some nice graphics and the logo cut-out on the deck grip. There's also a handy carry handle for when you're not cruising around.
SURF IT, DON'T SKATE IT - The Surf Skateboards or Carver Skateboards are designed to be ridden like a surfboard, where speed is driven by the carving motion, and carving (turning) is driven my the upper body rotation and tilting of the board through the specially designed trucks. Remember: Don't Skate it, Surf it, where your head and arms lead, your hips and board will follow.
Expert Review
'I love these Surf Skateboards from Charger-X, I've ridden other brands which have a much higher price and can honestly say I really couldnt tell any difference to those other more expensive boards. The technical set up is spot on for carving and I could easily get a lovely tight carve action going and I loved pulling a full 180 cutback on this one.
Just from seeing those 83A wheels I could tell they would be super smooth, and they didn't disappoint, I've ridden it in a car park with a fair bit of loose stones on the tarmac and it just rides over them easily.
They look cool too, love the more slick design of the Pro boards but likewise like the funky coloured and recycled bumper look.
I've ridden the 31inch Pro and the 28inch models and both rode really well, the 28inch would probably be better for a smaller rider, I'm 6ft 2 and it was just a bit small for me. The surf carver skateboards are so good for your surfing, and I'd really recommend them for anyone who wants to improve those turns, plus it's great to be getting some ride time even when you're not in the water!'
