PRACTICAL AND FUNCTIONAL:The Tiki cover sock is invaluable on the beach. Stretch it snugly over your board and you’ll be protecting your precious, water-loving stick from the sun and a very unfashionable yellow tan, or worse still, delamination. And, when you’re out of the water, the polyester towelling material will dry your board pretty much instantly.
PROTECTIVE LAYER: Whilst we recommend something a bit tougher than the sock for travelling any distance with your board (if you’re looking for padded bags, check out our boardbags range), the cover sock can be a lighter alternative for a quick dash to the beach to catch those early morning rides. It won’t give a high level of protection from scratches and dents but will help to stop minor damage. It’ll also save your car seats from tricky-to-remove wax and sand. The toughened nose cone will keep the tip of your board safe from damage - really useful when you’re moving it around in enclosed spaces such as your car or garage.
STORAGE:Cover socks are ideal for home storage, especially if you’re stacking boards or storing in a shed or garage. You can also use the cover sock as additional padding within surfboard travel bags. And it rolls up tightly too so you can squish it into a corner of your kit bag without even noticing it’s there!
