AN XL VERSION OF THE CLASSIC: If you’re just starting out in paddleboarding, we know how tricky it can be to decide how you’ll use your board and what your favourite activity will be. From Tiki’s entry-level Stowaway iSup range, the XL has enough versatility to get you out exploring coasts or rivers, or riding in the shallower waters honing your surfing skills. The real joy of this board is that you can experience all of these activities before you plump for a more specialist board. It’s also a fantastic choice for the more experienced recreational paddler looking for a quality paddleboard at a great value price. 

The Stowaway package comes with a few extras to make your trips out to the water that bit easier: an iSUP storage bag, pump, removable central fin, a three-piece adjustable paddle plus a coiled leash. There’s also a repair kit, just in case! The board is fitted with a cargo net on the front deck – ideal for storing lightweight kit such as a windproof top or your iSUP dry bag for when you’re out on the water. And there’s a carry handle on the middle deck to make the board easier to move around when you’re on dry land. 

A RUGGED APPROACH: When Tiki set out to develop their Stowaway range of inflatable paddle boards, their focus was very much on delivering as much product quality, reliability and performance in the water whilst making them as affordable as possible. The result? Really versatile boards that are lightweight, robust and offer plenty of stability and glide. Constructed using Tiki’s Fusion system, the Stowaway’s core is built using Dropstitch technology to give plenty of stiffness for better performance through the water. Then there’s the PVC rail, so if you do take an accidental bump or two, there’s no danger of deflation. The board also features one layer of PVC impregnated mesh heat bonded to the base cloth - this clever piece of design is the bit that makes the boards lightweight and also means they’ve been produced using fewer solvents. Finally, it’s topped with an EVA deck so you’ll get plenty of traction and no slip, even if you’re riding barefoot. Tiki have kept the price lower by reducing the complexity of the EVA pad, the number of handles and length of cargo cords.
